I want to find a doctor around here that will treat all of me on a whole. I hate having to go to different doctors, and make different appointments for each individual symptom I have. Isn't it possible that everything could be related? Does anyone know of any good doctors around Austin that will let me come in and tell them all of my different problems, and have them treat me all at once? I want to go in and tell them about my migraines, insomnia, indigestion, adhd, etc. and see if it's possible for everything to have one root cause. I'm tired of having to find a different doctor for each issue, who doesn't have time to hear about the others. Do doctors like this exist anymore? Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
p.s. I have bluecross/blueshield if anyone knows that info about their doctor. At this point, I almost don't care if it's covered. One uncovered appointment has got to be cheaper than 5 different appointments that my insurance pays for.

I'm new to the whole LJ community thing. I am actually moving to Austin next week, and was trying to meet people on here, and make friends with people who have the same interests as me.. I also wanted to let you guys know I write alot, so this journal will probably be updated as much as I can write down in a day.. lol. But overall, I hope you enjoy what you read. I also have a myspace if you'd like to add me there. I don't have have any mutual friends on LJ yet.. because nobody from my hometown uses theirs anymore. So, send me a message if you read something of mine that like or dislike.. I'll accept your critcism.

Thanks.

Hello, new to town. Long time lurker, once in a while commenter, first time OP here...
I'm wondering if there's any bike shops in town that have used bikes or used bike frames? Or more specifically, does anyone know anyone looking to get a 48-50cm road bike off their hands? I can pay some cash and I'm willing to fix one up, I'm learning how to build bikes, but I really would love to have something to work on and get around with that won't kill me financially for now (can't afford fancy new shiny pretty road bikes... want an ugly fixer upper that I can beat up and make my own without feeling bad about scratching up the frame and slapping stickers all over it). Can anyone help or is this just an idiotic request?
PS - I know about Yellow Bike and am looking into that. But their main shop is closed so I need a bike to start off with...
PPS - craigslist fails me and with the amount of stolen bikes probably listed on that thing, I feel it's best to stay away.

Miller Blueprint isn't open on weekends, is there anywhere else I could get giant ass sheets of cardboard this weekend? (over 23x27)
It's a long shot but does anyone know of a place that has feline obedience classes? I'm desperate to teach one of my cats how to behave and it seems I've tried everything I can besides just letting her be a bad little shit.
I got lapbanded by Dr. Jayseelan in Dallas and have yet to find a doctor to go to for fills in Austin. Does anyone know of a good doctor who accepts fill-only patients?

My boyfriend and I are wanting to be The Tick and Oedipus for Halloween.

Any idea where we can find costumes in Austin? I doubt there are Tick costumes but if there are any places that would have something similar or the pieces to make one ourselves, please let me know. Oedipus' costume is just like Elecktra's but yellow. Thanks for any leads!

In relation to my business suit question - what department store is it having their 'One Day' sale today? I'm not a big mall shopper - but maybe I could get out of there with a discounted suit or two.
Dillards??
Google says it's Macy's.
Thank you for your patience.

I have to buy a few "suits" for a work event that I'm hosting in a few weeks. I'm dreading the money that I'm about to have to drop on this.
Can anyone recommend a place in town where I can find STYLISH (I'm 29 years young) suits - that won't cost an arm & a leg?
I was thinking of hitting up Steinmart or something a long those lines. I just don't want to end up in a Hilary pantsuit. if you get my drift.
Note: I'm also trying to avoid places like Target, etc. It seems like those things never fit right.

I think I have bronchitis (and need to get a script bc of my history of pneumonia). Any walk in clinics that are on the cheap and will get me in and out in a flash? I'm already considering minute-clinic inside cvs but I am curious as to other options. And like many of you, I am without insurance for another month (damn the new director for cutting my hours for 2 weeks).
